Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called for the Iranian government to be held accountable, after Tehran admitted supplying drones to Russia.
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said on Saturday that Iran "gave a limited number of drones to Russia months before the Ukraine war."
It is the first time Iran has acknowledged sending drones Russia, but Zelenskyy called Tehran's timeline a "lie."
He said in a video message on Saturday that Iran claimed drones had been sent before the Russian invasion, but Ukrainian forces "shoot down at least ten Iranian drones every day."
He went on to say, "There will be no such thing in the modern world that any of the terrorists or their accomplices will remain unpunished."
Ukraine's Defence Minister Oleksii Reznikov told reporters on Friday that Iran plans to send Russia 1,500 to 2,400 drones, but Moscow has yet to receive all of them.
Iran had consistently denied allegations that it had supplied Russia with drones used for attacks in Ukraine.
Ukraine and Western countries have condemned Tehran for what they see as its support for Russia. The allegations prompted the United States and the EU member nations to impose sanctions on Iran.
Ukraine remains on high alert for Russia's continued use of Iranian-made drones, as fierce fighting continues in eastern Ukraine and other areas.
The Russian military is reportedly stepping up its offensive toward Bakhmut, one of the Ukrainian strongholds in the eastern Donetsk region.

US President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump have rallied support for candidates from their respective parties ahead of the midterm elections on Tuesday.
Biden campaigned for Democrats in the battleground eastern state of Pennsylvania on Saturday, together with former President Barack Obama.
Biden said, "We have created so far 700,000 manufacturing jobs, just the last 20 months."
Trump also traveled to Pennsylvania. He made a pitch for Republicans, and blasted the Biden administration's immigration policy.
He said, "If you want to stop the destruction of our country and save the American Dream, then this Tuesday you must vote Republican in a giant red wave."
Polls suggest Republicans are likely on track to secure a majority in the House of Representatives, while Democrats and Republicans are in a close contest in the Senate.
Currently, both houses of Congress are controlled by the Democrats.
Multiple US media outlets reported on Friday that Trump is considering announcing his candidacy for the 2024 presidential election on November 14.
Trump has endorsed more than 200 candidates for the midterm elections. Observers say how successful those candidates are in the midterms will determine how much he will be able to maintain his influence.

Thousands of protesters have called for a general election at a rally in central London, as Britain is hit with record inflation and dissatisfaction with the ruling Conservative Party grows.
Civic groups and trade unions held the rally on Saturday.
People in Britain are struggling to keep up with soaring energy and food prices. The country saw the annual consumer price index rise to 10.1 percent in September.
Last month, Rishi Sunak became the fifth British prime minister from the Conservatives since 2016. People are increasingly distrustful of politics and dissatisfied with the party.
Demonstrators marched for about two and a half hours, chanting that they want the Tories out and demanding an immediate general election.
A 66-year-old man said the current administration is not functioning, even though people are facing a critical situation due to surging living expenses.
A 19-year-old woman said people could die as the government is not taking any measures before winter comes.
Sunak plans to announce a medium-term fiscal plan on November 17.

Japan's Defense Ministry says fighter aircraft belonging to its Air Self-Defense Force and bombers from the US military have conducted joint drills over the East China Sea.
The ministry announced on Saturday that the tactical drills had been carried out that afternoon over waters northwest of the southern Japanese island of Kyushu.
The ministry released photos of the aircraft flying in formation.
Nine aircraft were involved in the drills. The Japanese Air Self-Defense Force contributed five F2 fighter jets. The US military provided two B1 bombers and two F16 fighter aircraft.
The US military's B1 bombers also took part in joint drills with the South Korean military on the same day.
North Korea has reacted sharply to the US-South Korean drills. The country has repeatedly conducted test launches of ballistic missiles in recent days. Observers believe that some of the launched projectiles were intercontinental ballistic missiles.
The ministry says the drills on Saturday showed that the Japanese Self-Defense Forces and the US military are ready to address the security situation in the region. It notes that the situation is becoming increasingly strained, due to the North's repeated missile test launches.
The ministry says an aim of the drills was to show that the two countries are close allies and that they are committed to addressing all possible contingencies.

The government of Thailand faces the challenge of strengthening its gun control measures, following last month's deadly rampage at a childcare facility.
Sunday marks one month since a former police officer armed with a gun and a knife attacked a childcare center in northeastern Thailand on October 6. He killed 36 people, including 24 children.
Mourners continue to visit the site of the incident to leave sweets and other items in memory of their loved ones.
Local people remain worried that similar incidents may happen again, and victims' families are still struggling to come to terms with their loss.
One man lost his 3-year-old grandson in the attack. The boy lived with his grandparents as his parents worked at a factory outside their hometown.
The grandfather said he was a cheerful boy who loved singing and dancing, and that he still couldn't believe what had happened.
He added he misses him, and he had looked forward to seeing his grandson growing up.
The Thai government is stepping up efforts to tighten gun control measures.
People seeking gun licenses are now required to take psychological tests. The government also plans to have them undergo other mental evaluations after obtaining the licenses.
But the challenge is whether effective measures can be taken, as an enormous number of guns are already in circulation in the country.
A Swiss research institute says that Thailand had more than 10 million privately-owned guns as of 2017. In the capital Bangkok, there is a district lined with shops selling guns.
People aged 20 or older can legally buy guns if they prove they have a stable income with no criminal records. Lower priced guns sell for 30,000 baht, or about 800 dollars.
An illegal gun trade is also said to be rampant in the country.
When searching for "illegal guns" on social media, one can find many posts that list prices. One post offers a gun priced at around 95 dollars.

Two South Korean miners trapped inside a collapsed zinc mine in the country's southeast have been rescued after nine days.
The two miners had been stuck in a vertical shaft about 190 meters underground since the mine, in Bonghwa County, collapsed on October 26.
South Korean media describe the miners' survival as miraculous, bringing to an end a rescue operation that had been carried out around the clock.
The reports say the miners survived by consuming instant coffee powder and drinking water that dripped from the ceiling, and that they made a tent using plastic.
The two men were transported to hospital where they were found to be in good health. Local media quoted one of them as saying he wants to sit back and enjoy a glass of Korean distilled spirit called soju.
