A passenger plane carrying more than 140 people has slid off a runway into a river in the southern US state of Florida. Twenty-one people were injured.
The Boeing 737 aircraft skidded into the St. Johns River on Friday night while landing at a naval air station in the city of Jacksonville. The plane was operated by US charter airline Miami Air International.
The US Navy says there were 143 people onboard.
The Navy says the plane arrived from a US military base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Media reports say the passengers included service personnel and their families.
CNN quoted one passenger as saying there was a thunderstorm at the time of the accident.
The Boeing 737 involved in the incident is different from the 737 MAX 8, which has been grounded following a series of fatal accidents.
The US National Transportation Safety Board has sent investigators to examine the cause of the accident.

A South Korean labor union has vowed to erect a statue in a park in the southern city of Busan representing Koreans it claims were forced to work in Japan during World War Two.
Members of the group rallied on Friday at the park, which is about 100 meters away from the Japanese Consulate General. Participants shouted slogans, demanding an apology from Japan.
Senior members of the union say they eventually want to install the statue in front of the consulate general.
In April, city officials removed the statue from a sidewalk near the Japanese facility, saying its placement was illegal. However, members of the union put it back again.
The Japanese government says placing the statue in the park or in front of the consulate would be problematic in light of an international convention on consular relations.
