Tokyo police are imposing tight security in the capital ahead of US President Donald Trump's arrival in Japan on Sunday.
About 18,000 police officers will mobilize across Tokyo during Trump's 3-day stay through Tuesday. That's the largest ever deployment for a US presidential visit.
Superintendent-General of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, Naomasa Yoshida, on Saturday inspected security at the State Guest House. The building will host summit talks between Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Trump.
Yoshida urged police officers to do all they can to ensure security for Trump's visit.

Japanese and US business leaders have urged the Trump administration to reconsider its proposal on automobiles in its renegotiation of the North American Free Trade Agreement, or NAFTA.
They announced their concerns at the end of the annual 2-day Japan-US Business Conference on Friday in Washington.
The Trump administration is demanding automobiles have at least 50 percent US-made content to qualify for tariff-free treatment.
The statement describes the condition as harmful to US companies as well as Japanese firms investing heavily in North America.
The chairman of the Japan-US Business Council, Kunio Ishihara, said conference members agreed that, if realized, the US demand could have a significant negative impact on Japanese companies.

13 US federal agencies have laid the blame for global warming with human activity in a report that sits in stark contrast with President Donald Trump's reluctance to act on climate change.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and NASA are among the organizations that contributed to the report, released Friday. It calls for drastic cuts to greenhouse gas emissions.
The document says there is no convincing explanation for global warming other than human activity, especially greenhouse gas emissions.
It says that between 1900 and 2016, the global average temperature increased by one degree Celsius.
The report says the global average sea level rose by almost 20 centimeters in that period, and that it is expected to rise by 30 to 120 centimeters by the end of the century.
It says tidal flooding, heatwaves and wildfires have become more frequent in the United States.
The report says major reductions in emissions could limit the increase in the global average temperature to about 2 degrees Celsius.
Trump has come in for criticism from climate scientists and environmental activists for pulling the US out of the Paris climate agreement and easing environmental regulations.

A long-lost painting of Jesus Christ by Leonardo da Vinci has been shown to media ahead of an auction this month.
The Renaissance master is believed to have created "Salvator Mundi" or Savior of the World around 1500, before his most iconic work, "Mona Lisa."
On Friday, auction house Christie's New York invited media to view the painting. It depicts Christ wearing a deep blue robe and raising his right hand in blessing while holding a crystal orb in his left hand.
The work was recorded in the British royal family's collection in the 17th century. It vanished in the mid-18th century, and was rediscovered in 1900.
For many years, it was not considered an original da Vinci. Experts confirmed its authenticity in 2011.
Christie's says it is the only privately-owned da Vinci painting among 16 known to exist.
It is expected to fetch between 100 million and 150 million dollars at the auction, scheduled for November 15th.
Christie's Francois de Poortere says no comparable work has ever been sold. He says it is impossible to imagine what kind of price it will get.
